Can you believe it? Amazon Prime deals have already started—and in October! It feels like every year, Black Friday creeps up a little earlier, but I have to admit, I’m kind of loving it this time around. October sales give me a chance to spread out my spending, so I’m not doing the frantic holiday dash between Black Friday and Christmas.

I’m picking up just a few Christmas gifts right now (hello, stocking stuffers!), but I’m also using this early Prime Day to save in other areas. It’s the perfect time to grab those essentials I always seem to run out of at the worst times, like my favorite face wash, soap, and detergent.

Plus, it’s the best opportunity to snag some cute and practical teacher gifts. (How adorable is this apple felt garland? Seriously, it’s giving me all the cozy classroom vibes!)

And here’s the real win: If I space out these purchases over the next few months, I can stick to my budget while still getting the things I need. You don’t have to go all out right now, but it’s a great time to stock up on smaller things—think stocking stuffers, thoughtful little gifts, or even those items you frequently need/use.

PRIME DAY TIPS:

• Go to your cart, and look at your "Saved for Later" Items. What items are on your list that are not on sale?
• Go to the Amazon Home Page, and look at "Buy Again and Save Items" - grab those disposable items that are on sale - detergent, soap, face wash
• Go to the Amazon Home Page and look at "Keep Shopping For" items. Grab those items that were on your wish list.
• Go to Prime Day Deals from the home page, and shop kids' birthday presents - those birthday party gifts add up!
