Need something easy for this week? I’ve got you...

Hello Reader,

This is the point in December when energy is low, and kids are extra wiggly.

If you need something fast, low-prep, and meaningful, I have some ideas!

Here are some of my favorite print-and-go options:

  • Nativity Bible Scavenger Hunt: Let kids dig into the Bible to find answers about the Christmas story. Great for small groups, family devotions, or a quick Sunday school activity.
  • The Word Became Flesh Interactive Coloring Page: Teach the powerful truth of John 1:1 and John 1:14 with this hands-on “The Word Became Flesh” Scroll Reveal Craft! This interactive project helps kids visually understand that Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us.
  • Nativity Left-Right Game: Read a funny, Bible-based nativity story filled with the words LEFT and RIGHT while kids pass a small gift around the circle. Perfect for church parties or family gatherings.
  • Christmas Story Snack Mix: Use a simple snack mix to retell the nativity story (each snack piece represents part of the story). You can print table signs, cards, tags, and tents—great for parties or take-home gifts. Pair it with the Candy Cane Poem!
  • Elf Ideas: Feeling burnt out with your little read friend? Take a look at all of our Elf ideas, including Christian Elf Ideas.
  • Christmas Coloring Pages & Activity Mats: Keep a stack of nativity or Christian Christmas coloring pages on hand for:
    • Early arrivers at church
    • “I’m bored” moments at home
    • Quiet time during family gatherings

These are the kinds of things you can print the night before and still feel really good about how you spent time with your kids or students.

If you need a quick shortcut, you can browse all my Christmas printables in our free printable library or in the Frugal Coupon Living shop.

Give yourself grace this week. Little hearts learn in the small, simple moments, too.
