Hi friend, I’ve been thinking lately about how many different seasons have brought people here — some of you have been around for a long time, and others may be reading this for the very first time. So I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself and share a little of our story. I’m Ashley. I’m a wife and a mom of five (yes… five 😅) with ID twins on the end. I have two older girls — one in college and one in high school — and three younger boys who keep our elementary school years very lively. Our home is full, busy, noisy, and constantly evolving, and I wouldn’t trade it. I started blogging back in 2008 when I became a stay-at-home mom with my oldest child. What began as a simple way to document life slowly turned into helping families save money — especially at the grocery store — by combining sales and coupons. Those early blogging days were such a learning curve, but they opened doors I never could have imagined. Along the way, I had opportunities like being featured on the Dr. Phil Show and The Rachael Ray Show, and my audience grew in ways that still surprise me when I look back. In 2018, I started creating printables for the home, parties, and holidays. By 2019, I opened my shop, and then in 2024, something shifted again. I began helping my church with crafts and activities, and found myself spending more intentional time in Scripture each day. Creating Bible-based resources for kids and families became something deeply personal — first for my own home, and then for churches, youth groups, and homeschool communities. That season has shaped me in ways I didn’t expect, and it’s one I’ve come to love.s In the middle of all of that, our family made a big move. After living in the DC area for the past ten years, we returned to our home state of Florida about six months ago. From a fast-paced, transient region to a more laid-back, hang-ten, surfer-style life — it’s been an adjustment, but a good one... new rhythms, new places, and a lot of gratitude. I’m really thankful you’re here, whether you’ve been reading since the early days or you’re just joining in. This space has grown and changed over the years, just like our family, and I’m grateful for the community that’s formed along the way. Thanks for being part of it. Warmly, Ashley |

Hi friend, Lent is one of those seasons that matters—but if you’re walking through it with kids, it can also feel a little overwhelming. The good news? Lent with kids doesn’t have to be complicated or intense to be meaningful. Small, consistent moments—done together—can make a big impact....
