Amazon Finds for Mom (aka You!)

Hi friend,

With Mother’s Day around the corner, I thought it would be fun to share a few things I’ve bought lately and truly love - the kind of simple, affordable Amazon finds that make you feel a little more put together without trying too hard.

These are all easy on the wallet, practical for everyday life, and honestly… things I’d happily gift or receive myself.

Here’s what I’ve been loving:

Wide Leg Trouser Pants
I grabbed the beige with the blue stripe and they are true to size. They are perfect for spring and summer, but I’ve also been wearing them in cooler months by layering capri leggings (in mocha/nude) underneath. No one knows I’m wearing two pairs of pants — and I’m staying warm. They remind me so much of a Free People style pant.

Green Barrel Jeans
I am so grateful for barrel jeans right now. I wanted something outside of the traditional blue denim and went with green — and wow. I cannot tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten on these. It got to the point where I was handing out Amazon links. People even asked if they were from LOFT. They have an elastic waist, are true to size, and just really fun to wear... and very forgiving too.

PRETTYGARDEN Crochet Cap Sleeve Top
I picked this up in green (apparently I’m in a green season right now 😄). It’s true to size and so pretty for spring. I’ve gotten multiple compliments on this one too, and I have friends who now own it in other colors. If you like brochet tops, I also got this black & white one.

Designer-Inspired Cable Bracelet
I’ve had a cable bracelet from Amazon for years, but recently picked up this one. Funny story - my husband realized I had been wearing the Amazon version while his sister had the real thing, and he gifted me the real bracelet for Christmas. So now I’ve compared both side-by-side. Honestly? The biggest difference is the weight. Visually, it’s very hard to tell. My girls were pretty happy when I passed my Amazon one down to them.

On My “Want List” Right Now:

Colorful Resin Beaded Necklace with Gold Heart Charm
This one just feels like summer — fun, light, and easy to throw on with anything.

Loose Fit V-Neck Shell Embroidery Mini Dress
I haven’t ordered this yet because I cannot decide on a color. I love the green… but is that too much green at this point? I went from owning no green to suddenly having a whole collection.

V-Neck Color Block 2-Piece Set (Tunic + Shorts)
I’ve been eyeing this set and waiting for the blue/coral combo to come back in stock. It just looks like one of those easy outfits you can throw on and feel put together instantly.

Whether you’re shopping for yourself, dropping a hint, or looking for a simple Mother’s Day gift idea, I hope this gave you a few fun ideas.

Because sometimes the best gifts are the ones we actually use… and love.

Happy (almost) Mother’s Day!
XO - Ashley

These work well for kids making gifts for mom, families doing something together, Sunday school classes, or even women’s ministry events. Here are a few ideas you could try this year: Mother’s Day Prayer Wheel CraftA heartfelt, hands-on activity that invites children to reflect on the blessings of a mother. Good morning Reader! Here’s a small shift I’ve been trying in my prayer life — and it’s made a bigger difference than I expected. When I sit down to pray, distracting thoughts sneak in fast. You know the “oh look, a squirrel” kind of distraction. I’ll start praying, and suddenly I’m thinking about laundry, a conversation from yesterday, something on my to-do list… anything but what I meant to focus on. The other day I was telling a friend that I often find myself praying for the same kids...

Hello Reader! As Easter approaches, I couldn’t be more excited. It’s a time when spring blooms, pastel colors abound, and most importantly, we celebrate the incredible truth that He lives! It’s easy for Easter to get overshadowed by Easter baskets and egg hunts, but let’s not forget the profound miracle at the heart of this holiday. It's possible to incorporate the true meaning of the season and some fun light-hearted activities - like games, trivia, and crafts. This Easter season, enjoy some...
